Luana W. Perilli was born in Rome in 1981 . 

She has displayed her work in many italian and international venues.
Her research investigates relationship between individual and collectivities, nature and culture, moving it from the field of memory and narratives to science, sociobiology and social implications.
She was awarded with several residency grants : ZK/U Berlin, DE; Momentum Berlin DE, grant by Premio Terna; Pan Studios Program (supervised by Daniel Buren), Pan Museum, Napoli, in 2010; Art OmiInternational Artists Residency, New York, USA, in 2008; grant by Dena Foundation for Contemporary Art and Cite Internationale des Arts, grant by Incontri Internazionali D’Arte, Paris, FR, in 2008 and 2004.
